Road tripping has been Sparky's goal and desire for a very long time. When we bought the Golden Van of Holiness, his thoughts were on the elusive Road Trip that I wouldn't do for such a long time, what with toddlers and babies strapped in their various unnatural states.
But, oh, at last the Road Trip of a lifetime is upon us. The rubber we'll burn on the Coastal Highway, through Washington, Oregon and California! First stop, we'll be heading next Thursday to the BC Homeschool Expo where yours truly will be speaking on some stuff.

Then we'll check out some dunes, some water, some cheese, some wine, some large trees and some Spanish missions. This week I just lined baskets up on the pew *yes, we have a long pew in our hallway. Baskets for the purpose of checking in all the oddments of car travel as I think of them. Like floss and plastic dishes. And polysporin and Bengal Spice tea.
Oh yes, do not leave without Bengal Spice - that would be very sad! Safe travels dear family :) xo
